Stud

Double-Ended Stud

The 5.7/6.1 Hemi oil pan requires a double-ended stud on the #3 main bearing cap to help support the oil pick-up tube. This stud comes standard in trucks but isn't on the passenger car engines. The stud can be purchased from SCS or your Dodge dealer. The part number is 6506333AA.

They said it couldn't be done: A direct bolt-on hemi conversion kit that offers factory-correct position and race performance strength — along with a smooth, insulated ride. But Schumacher has done it! Our bullet-proof, spool mount Hemi Kit lets you easily bolt a new crate or original street 426 Hemi to your V8 or B/RB K-member — with no additional fabrication, expensive k-member changes, cutting, welding, suspension changes or additional installation parts required. Fits factory Hemi manifolds, works with power steering, power brakes, and automatic and manual transmissions. Kits include powder-coated brackets, polyurethane bushings, bolts.

These quality, reproduction bracket kits are what you need for both B,C,E-Body 273/318 to Big Block conversions and original B/RB replacements. These brackets bolt a 383, 400 or 440 to factory specs directly on your original V8 or B/RB K-member and fit all factory accessories. Kits include powder-coated brackets, factory-style insulators, grade 8 bolts. Available with original rubber insulators or our polyurethane Poly-Loc insulators.

Hi-Flow Tri-Y Under Chassis B/RB Headers

Dread the thought of struggling to shoe-horn one-size-fits-all racing headers into your high-performance street car, only to lose your power steering?

Well, now there's relief for the all-too-common B/RB exhaust system headaches.

Our new under-chassis, Tri-Y header system gives you high-flow header performance and a custom fit that means you don't have to sacrifice your power steering. Retain exhaust studs in the heads — no more breaking into a water jacket! Plus, unlike most headers, it doesn't capture the starter, and, because it's designed specifically for your application, it installs quickly and painlessly — even with the engine in place. Applicable to '67 and up A-Body B/RB (400-500 hp), '63 & up B-Body and E-Body, with manual or power steering and automatic transmission.

Designed to work with '67 & up A-bodies, '62 & up B-bodies, and '70-74 E-bodies for engine styles 273, 318, 340 & 360. Our Small Block Headers are built only ten sets at a time, and each set is individually test fit for quality and accuracy.

Our new under-chassis, Tri-Y header system gives you high-flow header performance with a custom fit that means you don't have to sacrifice your power steering. Retain exhaust studs in the heads — no more breaking into water jackets! Plus, unlike most headers, it doesn't capture the starter, has excellent spark plug clearance, and is easily installed from the top down. Works with manual or power steering.

This is the starter we recommend for use with all of our big block and small block header applications. It's not the only starter that will work, but it's the one most commonly available new - from us or your Dodge dealer. In fact, it's the starter we use to test fit all of our headers.
